On the eve of 32nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Member of the National Assembly Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat of Pakistan Muslim League-Q described Iran’s Islamic Revolution as a biggest revolution of the twentieth century.
“Revolution fulfilled peoples' aspirations and showed that politics and religion are interlinked”, he observed.
The politician paid homage to the founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini for his role in leading the Iranian nation.
“Islamic Revolution in Iran is a major milestone of twentieth century”, he added.
Faisal Saleh Hayat expressing his views said that Islamic Revolution has transformed Iran into an Islamic welfare state. “It had changed the whole social set up of the country”, he noted.
Referring to the recent uprising in Muslim countries the Pakistani law maker said that the movement is inspired by the victory of the Islamic Revolution. “Ripples of Islamic Revolution can be seen in Middle East and North Africa”, said Faisal Saleh Hayat.
The political leader was of the opinion that impacts of the Islamic Revolution are very deep.
He said founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini taught his nation to come out of the Western dominance.
Faisal Saleh Hayat opined that Muslims should follow Imam Khomeini's lofty ideas to counter the dominance of global powers.
'There is no doubt that Imam Khomeini was a great leader, not only for Muslim but for the rest of the world', the law maker viewed.
The politician said that Iranian people despite the Western propaganda has been celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the Revolution which is a great achievement.
The political leader opined that that other nations of world should learn from the struggle of the Iranian nation.
The day of Imam Khomeini's return to Iran marks the start of 10 days of celebrations, which culminate on February 11 -- the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
