Agha Murtaza Poya said that the Islamic Revolution is a great event in the history and had a profound impact not on Iran but on the whole world.
On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution he congratulated the followers of Islamic Revolution for upholding the torch of Imam Khomeini (P) successfully.
Paying rich tribute to Imam Khomeini (P) he said that the Islamic Revolution under the strong leadership of Imam Khomeini (P) inflicted a defeat on the world’s imbalance.
Expressing solidarity with the Islamic Revolution, the Pakistani leader said that the event cast a great impact on the entire world.
“Today we are witnessing reflections of the Islamic Revolution in Egypt, Lebanon, Afghanistan, China and other parts of the world”, he said.
He added that the goal of the Islamic Revolution was to bring justice in the world by rejecting imbalance of power. “It taught the Muslims to come out of the influence of so called big powers”, he viewed.
Agha Murtaza Poya also noted that the Islamic Revolution is pure in its nature because it is surviving despite the past 32 years' conspiracies.
“It had not started as a consequence of some Western plot”, he added. The intellectual went on to say that the conspiracies have made Islamic Revolution stronger.
He opined that the Muslims should use the intellect of Imam Khomeini (P) to face the threats and challenges they are going through.
The day of Imam Khomeini's return to Iran marks the start of the 'Fajr' (Dawn) 10 days of celebrations, which culminate on February 11 -- the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
