(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Hillary Clinton, whose country plays a pivotal role in support for Zionist regimes' barbaric crimes, told reporters in Washington on Thursday that the US is against the Palestinians' efforts to ratify a resolution at UNSC for condemnation of development of Israeli settlements.
Clinton claimed that the only option for resolution of disputes is negotiation.
A draft resolution against the Zionist regime was handed over to the UNSC fifteen member states, on Wednesday, in which the development of Zionist settlements in occupied Palestinian territories and East al-Qods has been condemned. The US opposition to this resolution means that in case of presentation of this resolution at UNSC, Washington will veto it.
Through wielding its veto power, the US has practically turned the UNSC into a tool for advancement of its illegitimate interests across the world.
