Ali Akbar Tupchi said that the plan was held in 600 fixed or mobile booths across Tehran in the first days of Noruz (beginning March 21).
He said that the plan, which was organized by the Quran Culture Center, was very well received by families and children. It was aimed at promoting the culture of the holy Quran among families and children in particular.
Noruz, which means "new day" in Persian, is a spring festival of Persian origin that began on March 21. It is celebrated by more than 300 million people in Iran and other countries as the beginning of the new year.
