During a visit to the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts on Monday, Pezeshkian thoroughly reviewed the Ministry’s performance in various areas, especially given the country’s current special circumstances.

The president received a detailed report outlining the extent of damage inflicted on the country’s historical and cultural sites following the recent aggressive attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime.

Emphasizing the significance of protecting the country’s historical and cultural identity, Pezeshkian urged for faster documentation of damages, the allocation of emergency funds, and the leverage of both domestic and international resources for the restoration of these sites.

The president underscored the strategic role of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts in safeguarding the nation’s identity and enhancing cultural diplomacy. He called for greater cohesion among executive bodies, the engagement of expert capacities, and a quicker implementation of reconstruction and development programs.
