AhlulBayt News Agency: The new Iraqi President, Nizar Amidi, exchanged views with Iran's ambassador to Baghdad on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and emphasized the continuation of dialogues to end the war in the region.
Speaking in a meeting with Mohammad Kazem Al-e-Sadeq, Amidi emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue, ending crises, and keeping the region away from the dangers of war to strengthen international peace and security.
Meanwhile, Al-e-Sadeq congratulated Amidi on his election as President of Iraq and wished him success.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and ways to enhance ties in various fields.
They also discussed the latest regional developments and the security situation.
