ABNA24 - The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the continuation of the central kitchen in Lebanon, which is affiliated with it, to provide its services after the announcement of the ceasefire, confirming that around 5,000 beneficiaries daily are included in its services.

The efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine come in compliance with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority to support the Iranian and Lebanese peoples and to assist displaced families in the current circumstances.

The head of the Guidance and Moral Support Division of the Religious Affairs Department at the holy shrine, Sheikh Haidar Al-Aaradi, said that the number of beneficiaries from the central kitchen services ranges daily between 4,000 to 5,000 people, with two meals distributed daily.

He explained that the kitchen continuously provides its services to several areas, including (Bshamoun, Aramoun, and Doha Al-Hoss), in addition to collaborating with field activists who deliver meals to needy families in their homes.

He added that the kitchen sometimes meets the needs of other areas, such as (Khalda and al-Sahel), when there is a shortage of food services, and continues its work during and after periods of war to ensure the continued provision of food support to those in need.

Al-Aradi pointed out that the central kitchen includes several operational departments to provide a variety of meals, and it employs 23 staff members, along with a number of volunteers at different locations.

The holy shrine seeks to provide humanitarian support to displaced and affected families through various relief initiatives, including the provision of food and basic necessities, contributing to alleviating their suffering.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched a campaign to collect donations to support the Iranian and Lebanese peoples, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority, with specialized committees formed to manage it.

The holy shrine has opened five outlets to receive donations inside and outside the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to be coordinated between the office of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the offices of the supreme religious authority inside and outside Iraq, especially in Iran and Lebanon, with the aim of delivering them to those affected by this crisis and alleviating their suffering.
