AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a telephone conversation with his Lebanese counterpart, Nabih Berri, Qalibaf expressed condolences for the martyrdom of the oppressed and resilient people of Lebanon, especially the brave fighters of Hezbollah and Amal, and appreciated the courage and steadfastness of the Lebanese nation, as well as the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament. He stated, "God has promised that when resistance is undertaken, the result will certainly be divine victory and triumph."
Stating that they have never forgotten their Lebanese brothers and consider them as their own, the spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament referred to the efforts and consultations of various officials of the country, including the President, and stated, "I am constantly following up on the situation in Lebanon and the establishment of a ceasefire in that country, and this issue is very important to us. In the Islamabad negotiations and also afterward, we have seriously sought to force the enemies to establish a permanent ceasefire in all conflict zones according to the ceasefire agreement, because for us, a ceasefire in Lebanon is as important as a ceasefire in Iran."
Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, while providing a report on the latest situation of the Zionist regime's attacks on Lebanon, stated, "Israel is literally committing crimes in our country and seeking to displace the Lebanese people. So far, over one million and two hundred thousand Lebanese have been displaced."
Stating that they and the resistance fighters remain steadfast on their path, Nabih Berri added, "Any official communication or consultation with the Zionist regime will certainly not be in the interest of the Lebanese people."
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament concluded by addressing Qalibaf, stating, "I appreciate your seriousness and efforts in supporting Lebanon and the Islamic resistance."
