AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A ceremony commemorating the 40th day of the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, was held at the University of Dhaka, the largest and oldest university in Bangladesh, with the widespread participation of people from various walks of life, students, professors, and media personnel. This ceremony was organized by the Committee for the Commemoration of the 40th Day of Martyrdom.
At this event, Dr. Rahim Jalili, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dhaka, as one of the main speakers, elaborated on the necessity of unity in the Islamic society. Emphasizing the importance of cohesion and convergence among Muslims, he divided the Islamic society in the face of global developments into two categories: "anti-arrogance" and "submissive to domination," and highlighted the role of resistance and steadfastness against the hegemonic system as the main indicator of the dignity and progress of the Islamic Ummah.
Additionally, the representative of Al-Mustafa International University in Dhaka addressed some of the doubts raised in the intellectual and media spheres. By posing the question, "Why has the Islamic Republic of Iran entered negotiations at certain junctures?" he explained the various dimensions of this issue, analyzing it within the framework of macro-expediencies and strategic measures.
He further examined the reasons behind the hostile actions of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, contextualizing this within the confrontation between the resistance front and the hegemonic system. He emphasized that such actions and pressures are carried out to contain and weaken the resistance movement and the quest for independence in the Islamic world.
Later in the ceremony, Abu al-Kalam Azad, a professor at the University of Dhaka, and Mahmud al-Rahman, a journalist, each delivered remarks examining various dimensions of the personality, thoughts, and intellectual and political legacy of the martyred leader.
