Followers of Sheikh Zakzaky join march in Tehran honoring martyred leader

ABNA24 - A group of Nigerian seminary students and university scholars—followers of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN)—have taken part in the Arbaeen procession in Tehran, commemorating the 40th day after the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The march, organized from Republic Square to the site of the "martyrdom of the Leader of the Martyrs of Resistance," saw orderly participation by students of theology and higher education, chanting slogans in support of the Islamic Republic and the global Axis of Resistance.

The participants called for vengeance for the martyrs while carrying portraits of the "martyred Leader," Imam Khamenei, the current Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.

Protesters and mourners waved flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nigeria, Hezbollah, and other resistance factions, demonstrating solidarity across continents.

In a final statement, the marchers renewed their oath of allegiance to the "martyred Leader," vowing to continue his path.

They also reaffirmed their obedience to and support for Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the current Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as Sheikh Ibrahim Ya'qub Zakzaky, the leader of Nigeria's Islamic Movement.
