AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ali Al-Khatib, the Vice President of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council of Lebanon, during telephone conversations with various political parties in the country today, Sunday, emphasized the need to maintain internal peace.
Al-Khatib, noting that the Zionist regime must be deprived of the opportunity to create internal strife in Lebanon, said, "We call upon all our people not to engage in provocative actions that would disrupt internal security." He expressed gratitude to those hosting the displaced, particularly in Beirut, Jabal Amel, and the northern region, and stated that Lebanon belongs to all its people.
On the eve of the upcoming Washington meeting between Lebanon and Israel on Tuesday, Hassan Fadlallah, a Lebanese parliamentarian from the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, also called upon his government not to squander the historic opportunity attained through Iran's blessings and to understand that the resistance is enduring, while governments are temporary.
The Hezbollah parliamentarian warned, "What the enemy has been unable to achieve on the battlefield, it will not achieve in negotiations with a government that is not itself the decision-maker."
