Hathaway wrote in a post on social media, "If Trump follows through on his threat, this post will be 'Exhibit A' in future war crimes trials." She further emphasized, "Unfortunately, those who follow patently illegal orders are most likely to be held accountable."
This international law professor, noting that war crimes trials may take years to conclude, added, "There is no statute of limitations for such crimes, and it sometimes takes decades for justice to be served."
