ABNA24 - A number of famous Quran scholars and reciters from different parts of the Islamic world have reacted in recent days to the aggression launched by the US and the Zionist regime against Islamic Iran.
They have sent messages denouncing the attacks that have led to the martyrdom of hundreds of Iranians, including Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Among those sending messages are Ahmed Ahmed Nuaina, Abdel Fattah Tarouti, Taha Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Shazli, Ahmed Abdel Wahab Tantawi, Abdel Nasser Harak, Yasser Abdul Basit Abdul Samad and Abdel Karim Saleh from Egypt, Aqeel Munawwar and Mukhlis Hanafi from Indonesia, Muhammad Ali Atfay from Morocco, Omar Boussadeh from Algeria, Talal Mismar and Adel Khalil from Lebanon, Sedagdad Ali from Pakistan, Rizwan Darwish from Syria and Ali Saffar from Iraq.
They expressed their condolences and sympathies to the people of Iran and wished victory for the country against the aggressors.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
