Iran’s Parliament speaker has described the martyrdom of first Iranian Christian in the current US-Zionist aggression as a sign of unity.
In a post on X account on Sunday, offered condolences on the martyrdom of Avans Simonian, the first Christian in the Third Imposed War (the current US-Zionist aggression), considering his sacrifice a great sign of unity to defend the homeland.
“Last week, the magnificent funeral ceremony of martyr Avance Simonian, the first Christian Iranian martyr of the Third Imposed War, was held in the Church of the Holy Mary in Jolfa, [Isfahan],” wrote Ghalibaf in his post.
“He was martyred a week ago in the brutal bombing of civilian areas in Isfahan carried out by Israeli criminals,” the Iranian speaker also noted.
“On this Easter, I would like to ask you to pray for the peace of that martyr's soul; may his noble soul rest in eternal peace in the loving embrace of Jesus Christ,” Ghalibaf, also said, concluding “His sacrifice is a symbol of the unity of all Iranians in defending the motherland.”
