Enough Is Enough: War and Destruction” Rally in Lugano, Switzerland

Residents of the city of Lugano held a gathering condemning the rising tensions in the Middle East.

Approximately 200 people gathered in Piazza Reformation in the Swiss city of Lugano to condemn the escalating tensions in the Middle East and call for an end to violence.

Slogans such as “Enough to imperialist wars” and "Enough to death and destruction" were among those heard at the rally.

Participants assembled to protest the increase in violence in the Middle East and other global conflicts. At the event, criticism was also directed at the Swiss government’s policies, particularly targeting Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, who was accused of inaction.

Speakers at the rally demanded that the voices of civilian victims of the Middle East, especially children, be heard. Other positions raised by speakers included double standards in how international conflicts are addressed.

The rally was organized by various groups and took place peacefully, without any incident.
