Ministry of Information (Intelligence) announced Sunday that a four-member team affiliated to the terrorist Komeleh group was lately demolished in the West Azarbaijan province of Iran.
A report released by the ministry’s Public Relations Office said that Iran’s security forces identified members of the unlawful and terrorist team in the suburbs of the provincial city of Sardasht in western Iran and killed them during an operation in the wee hours of Sunday.
The group was involved in killing of three police forces on a provincial road last January.
Four Kalashnikov guns, two grenades and 26 bullet magazines were also confiscated during the operation, the report added.
