Ahlulbayt News Agency: Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations office in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, reiterated that the country is capable of defending itself till the end of the current war.
Talking to Al-Mayadeen news channel on Saturday, Ali Bahreini said, “We are prepared to continue fighting the US-Zionist enemy not only till the end of the war, but also to guarantee that the enemy would not repeat any aggression against Iran. We want to give an end to the vicious circle of ‘violence, then negotiation and then war’.”
Commenting on US President Donald Trump’s claims that Iran’s military and defense capabilities have been destroyed, the Iranian diplomat said the claims were based on mere lies. “Iran has full control on the Strait of Hurmuz thanks to its active and efficient naval force.”
