Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei says a brave US marine veteran has been silenced after protesting war against Iran in the Congress.
In a post on his X account on Saturday, Baqaei republished a video that showed Brian McGinnis, a Marine Corps veteran and anti-war activist, shouting, “No one wants to fight for Israel”. He was silenced and had his hand broken, Baqaei added.
"A courageous US marine was silenced and his hand was broken after he shouted 'No one wants to fight for Israel!'
A violent struggle took place as multiple Capitol Police officers and a Republican senator tried to drag the protester out of the chamber.
