OIC Condemns Deadly Mosque Attack in Islamabad

The OIC strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a mosque in Islamabad that killed at least 31 worshipers. It reaffirmed its rejection of terrorism, offered condolences to Pakistan, and expressed full solidarity with the country’s efforts to enhance security.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the Friday terrorist attack on a mosque in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

The OIC General Secretariat reaffirmed its absolute rejection of terrorism in all its forms, particularly attacks targeting places of worship.

It emphasized its firm stance in denouncing such criminal acts, which contradict human values and religious principles.

The OIC extended its sincere condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, as well as to the families of the victims.

It also reiterated its full solidarity with Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and strengthen security and stability.

The statement came a day after a deadly terrorist attack killed at least 31 worshipers during Friday prayers at the Khadija Tul Kubra Mosque in the Tarlai Kalan area of Islamabad.
