AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The blast at the Imam Bargah in the Tarlai area of Islamabad has been strongly condemned by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and several other officials.
In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the deaths and extended his condolences to the families of the victims. He directed that the injured be provided the best possible medical care and instructed the Health Minister to personally oversee the arrangements.
Sharif also stated that those responsible for the blast would be identified and given strict punishment. He emphasized that no one would be allowed to disturb the peace and stability of the country.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar also condemned the attack. On the social media platform X, he wrote:
"I strongly condemn the cowardly suicide attack on innocent worshippers during Friday prayers at a Shia Imam Bargah in Islamabad, which killed dozens of people."
He added: "Targeting a place of worship and civilians is a heinous crime against humanity and a blatant violation of Islamic principles. Pakistan stands united against all forms of terrorism. This brutality will not frighten us, and extremists will be held fully accountable for their actions."

Under the directives of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry visited PIMS Hospital in Islamabad, where he met with the injured. Chaudhry assured that the victims would receive the best possible medical treatment.
The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad also reacted on social media, stating:
"The United States strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Islamabad today, which has killed and injured innocent worshippers. We condemn this attack, as well as all acts of terrorism and violence."
