AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Khadijat-ul-Kubra Imam Bargah in the Tarlai area of Islamabad and met the families of those who were martyred in the recent terrorist attack. He expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy with them.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that the entire nation, including himself, is deeply saddened by this hateful and terrible act of terrorism. He said that elders, brothers, sons, and children were among those targeted, and the whole country is in mourning. He added that he had come on behalf of the nation to offer condolences, and that this is an unbearable loss, especially for the families of the victims.
The Prime Minister prayed for the high ranks of the martyrs and for the quick recovery of the injured. He assured that the government would not leave the affected families alone.
He announced financial assistance of 10 million rupees for the family of Shaheed Aoun Abbas in recognition of his great bravery.
In addition, he announced 5 million rupees for the family of each martyr, 3 million rupees for those seriously injured, and 1 million rupees for other injured persons.
The Prime Minister said that state institutions will continue strong action to eliminate terrorism completely and will ensure peace and security in the country at all costs.
