AhlulBayt News Agency: Maulvi Ibrahim Abdullah, during a meeting with Iran’s Cultural Counsellor in Sri Lanka, said: We believe that in today’s world and within the Muslim Ummah, Iran is the only country that has consistently supported Muslims and their interests. Therefore, it is now essential for Muslim nations to stand alongside the people of Iran.
Following conspiracies by the enemies of the Islamic Revolution aimed at creating unrest and chaos in Iran, Maulvi Ibrahim Abdullah, along with several members of the Sufi Association of Sri Lanka, expressed their support for the people of Iran, the Islamic Revolution, and the Supreme Leader during a meeting with Ali Kobraei-Zadeh, Iran’s Cultural Counsellor in Sri Lanka.
The meeting was held at the Cultural Counsellor’s Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka. In his remarks, Maulvi Ibrahim Abdullah praised the resilience of the Iranian people in the face of conspiracies by the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and commended the wisdom and foresight of the leadership. He said that under such circumstances, Muslims around the world must set aside their differences, stand united, and not allow the United States and Israel to succeed in their objectives of sowing discord among free nations.
Stating that if Iran were to suffer harm, the Islamic world would face even more serious consequences, the head of the Sufi Association of Sri Lanka said: We believe that in the contemporary world and among the Muslim Ummah, Iran alone has consistently defended Muslims and their interests, and it is therefore necessary that Muslim nations stand with the people of Iran.
Israel and the United States Are a Threat to the Global Order
Speaking at the meeting, Ali Kobraei-Zadeh, Iran’s Cultural Counsellor in Sri Lanka, said that for centuries the West has plundered the Islamic world and subjected nations to oppression and pressure. He stated that what the Zionist regime carried out in Gaza would not have been possible without American support, and that Israel’s attack on Iran could not have occurred without a green light from the United States and the West.
He added that vigilance is therefore essential, noting that the West and the United States have a long history of conspiracy and intrigue. He said Iran’s conflict with the West and the United States is essentially a confrontation between the logic of independence and the logic of domination. Contrary to the portrayal of Iran as a threat, he stressed that it is in fact the United States and its allies who pose a threat to the global order.
Kobraei-Zadeh emphasized: Has it ever been seen that Iran attacks another country? Meanwhile, he said, the occupying regime, during its relatively short and ominous existence, has carried out countless attacks against the people of Palestine and neighboring countries.
The Iranian cultural counsellor further noted that the United States has attacked other countries hundreds of times, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and more recently Venezuela and Iran. All of this, he said, reflects America’s arrogant and hegemonic nature. However, he added, the people of Iran remain steadfast in the face of the enemy’s excesses and, under the leadership of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, will, God willing, overcome the schemes and plots of their adversaries.
