AhlulBayt News Agency: Hujjatul Islam Ahmad Oliyai said that around 20 works were accepted after strict scrutiny by the conference’s judging committee.
He made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the conference, held Wednesday in the Imam Hussein (A.S) Hall of the Islamic Culture and Studies Research Institute in Tehran.
He noted that the call for papers for the conference was launched two years ago and papers were received from scholars and researchers in the fields of civilization and Quranic sciences.
This conference has been able to attract top scholars in the field of civilization and Quranic studies, he stated.
Hujjatul Islam Oliyai stated that the papers were received in three main areas: concepts and foundations, problem identification, and methodology.
He added that two books featuring the selected papers translated into Arabic will be published, and clips from the conference will be reflected in Arabic networks with Arabic subtitles.
