AhlulBayt News Agency: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has reiterated support for Iran, saying security and sovereignty of the Islamic Republic have always been the utmost desire of his country.
Asif reacted in a post on his official X account on Tuesday, in response to the widespread presence of Iranian people across the country a day ago, supporting the Islamic establishment and condemning foreign-backed armed rioters.
Iran has always been a dear neighbor and brother, and its security and sovereignty are a heart’s desire for Pakistan, he emphasized.
Asif, who is on an official visit to Morocco, re-posted the extensive images of anti-riot demonstrations in Iran on Monday on his social media network.
Criticizing the behaviors of the West-backed rioters, the minister insisted that Iran being a brotherly neighbor, its security, national sovereignty, and independence have always been dear to Pakistan.
Millions of people hit the streets of cities and towns across Iran on Monday, condemning the crimes of armed terrorists supported by the United States and the Israeli regime.
The images of the rallies are circulating on social media in Pakistan and elsewhere in the region, with users expressing joy over the failure of Iran-phobia project of enemies once again.
