AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Kafeel Water Factory, affiliated with the Al-Kafeel Food Industries Company at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, has boosted its production capacity for the month of Muharram by installing two new machines with a total production capacity of 60,000 cups of water per hour.
The factory manager, Mr. Murtadha Saleh Mahdi, said: "As part of the plan prepared for the months of Muharram and Safar, the factory teams have completed the installation of two new machines with a total production capacity of 60,000 cups of water per hour to meet the increasing demand for bottled water during the pilgrimage seasons, noting that each machine produces 30,000 cups per hour, which contributes to increasing production capacity."
He added that the factory staff work around the clock to secure a strategic stock of water and ensure the continuous distribution to the Hussaini processions and visitors, based on the factory's commitment to serving the visitors and providing their basic needs, especially during peak times.
Mahdi confirmed that the factory is keen to keep up with the annual increase in the number of visitors arriving in the holy city of Karbala from inside and outside Iraq, by developing its production lines and enhancing their efficiency, in line with the directives of the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in serving the Hussaini pilgrimage.
