AhlulBayt News Agency: An Iranian scholar and Quran commentator hails Nahj al-Balagha as a comperhensive text that can address modern challenges of humans.
"The universality of Nahj al-Balagha astonishes and amazes people," he told IQNA. "The truth is that Nahj al-Balagha is an essential text for the education and development of modern humans; a text that can serve as the greatest solution and a saving remedy, freeing humanity from the numerous crises it faces."
He described as "thought-provoking" a comment made by late Dr. George Jordac, a Lebanese Christian researcher, historian, and thinker, about Nahj al-Balagha which reads: "Today, what can shatter the idol of gold and tyranny in the modern world, restore humanity to its true position, and open the way forward for mankind, is nothing but Nahj al-Balagha of Ali (AS)."
"This statement is a clear and reliable truth; because Nahj al-Balagha, with its lofty themes of monotheism, ethics, social issues, politics, and anthropology, possesses such depth and comprehensiveness that it can be a confident guide for contemporary humans," noted Ansari.
"However, what is truly regrettable is that such a precious treasure remains largely neglected; not only among humanity at large but even among Muslims, and not only among ordinary Muslims but sometimes even among Shia," he regretted.
"More sadly, this precious text, as it deserves, has not received the attention it warrants among scholars and thinkers," noted the scholar.
