AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation continued on Tuesday to enforce a complete closure of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for the fifth consecutive day, restricting entry to the Old City of Quds to its residents only.
The Jerusalem (Quds) Governorate reported that sporadic attacks by occupation forces resulted in four Jerusalemites being injured by bullets in the areas of At-Tur, Bir Nabala, and Al-Ram, according to reports from the official Palestinian News Agency.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities allowed Zionist settlers to perform religious rituals near Al-Aqsa Mosque while intensifying daily raids on towns and suburbs of Jerusalem, supported by a heavy military presence at dozens of checkpoints, surrounding gates, and the Apartheid Wall.
Since last Friday, the occupation has prohibited worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards, including its covered and open prayer halls, as well as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, even for residents of the Old City. Additionally, most shops, except those selling essential goods, have been closed under the pretext of maintaining the so-called “state of emergency.”
