AhlulBayt News Agency: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that it targeted several military airbases in the occupied territories in retaliatory strikes on Tuesday.
An IRGC officer stated in a televised address that the airbases used to launch attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran in recent days were struck.
The retaliatory attacks were part of the tenth phase of Operation True Promise III, initiated late on Friday in response to the unprovoked Israeli aggression against Iran, which resulted in the deaths of senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, including women and children.
The IRGC described Tuesday’s strikes as “carefully planned and executed” operations against the Israeli regime, which has continued its aggression against Iran.
The IRGC emphasized that the operation is ongoing, stating that retaliatory attacks would continue in a "multi-layered, complex, and gradual" manner.
Iranian armed forces carried out the latest and tenth phase of Operation True Promise III by launching a barrage of missiles and drones toward the occupied territories on Tuesday.
The operation commenced at approximately 7:10 pm local time, following nine previous phases since June 13 that have inflicted significant strategic damage on the occupying regime.
Operation True Promise III, launched on Friday night, is being conducted under the code name “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib.”
