IRGC commander: Operation True Promise III inflicted unprecedented damage on Israel

A senior IRGC commander stated that Operation True Promise III caused far greater damage to Israel than anticipated. The operation included ballistic missiles and advanced drones, overwhelming Israeli defenses. Despite efforts to conceal the extent of destruction, Israel has been forced to acknowledge limited reports of the attack.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has stated that the damage inflicted on Israel by Operation True Promise III far exceeds the regime’s expectations.

Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, Deputy Commander for Political Affairs, explained that the operation was launched approximately 20 hours after Israel’s initial assault, at a time when the regime was at peak defensive readiness. He noted that Israel had activated all its air defense systems and secured airspace control over neighboring countries in anticipation of Iran’s response.

Javani accused Israel of resorting to terrorist acts amid diplomatic engagements. He stated that Israeli forces believed their strikes on Iran’s military and missile sites had completely neutralized the Islamic Republic’s defensive and offensive capabilities, preventing Iran from executing operations similar to True Promise I & II.

He emphasized the diversity of missiles used in the operation, revealing that in addition to long-range ballistic missiles, Iran successfully deployed new drones, including the ‘Arash,’ into Israeli-occupied territories.

Javani described the unprecedented precision of the projectiles, stating that the operation left Israeli forces in complete shock. He added that the scale of the attack surpassed expectations, including those of Israeli authorities and former U.S. President Donald Trump.

While Iran openly shares images and reports of its martyrs and wounded, Javani claimed that Israel has relied on military statements, intelligence bulletins, and threats against civilians to prevent documentation of the true extent of damage, destruction, and casualties.

Despite these efforts, he noted that the scale of the operation has forced Israel to issue limited reports to its own public.
