AhlulBayt News Agency: A Guinea-Conakry scholar highlighted the status of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), among Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of prophet of Islam and also in the history of Islam.
Haj Maladubari, speaking at the international webinar on “Imam Ali, Axis of Unity” emphasized that Imam Ali was not only the heir to the science and morals of the Prophet, but with his unparalleled perseverance, courage and patience, he was the true keeper of Islam in the sensitive days of history Organized by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, the webinar was held on the eve of the Ghadir Eid which marks the succession of Imam Ali (AS) as the leader of the Islamic nation after the demise of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
He pointed to the various dimensions of the personality of the first Shia Imam and said: "Imam Ali is the greatest leader of the Ummah and the direct heir of the science and ethics of the Prophet Muhammad".
He added: "Courage, generosity, knowledge, perseverance and patience are just some of the qualities that distinguish him from others". From his youth, on the battlefield, no one could stand against him, and for this reason, he received the nickname "Hyder".
He concluded: "If we want to talk about the morality, courage and knowledge of Imam Ali, we are like someone who wants to drink from the endless sea of potions. The magnitude of this figure is beyond description, and we hope to explore more aspects of his vibrant life in future sessions".
