AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has issued a strong warning that Tehran will target Israel’s secret nuclear sites if the Israeli regime carries out any act of aggression against the Islamic Republic.
In a statement released on Sunday, the SNSC emphasized that Iran’s intelligence forces have carried out a complex operation, securing a vast trove of classified Israeli documents. This intelligence success, the statement noted, is part of a broader strategic plan aimed at countering hostile propaganda and maintaining deterrence against adversaries.
The Council highlighted Iran’s ongoing military efforts to establish an operational balance based on the strengths and weaknesses of Israel and its allies. It also stressed that the list of Israeli targets is already “on the table” for Iran’s Armed Forces, indicating that any act of hostility from Tel Aviv would trigger immediate retaliatory strikes on its nuclear facilities.
Referring to Iran’s recent acquisition of secret Israeli intelligence, the SNSC stated that this information has significantly enhanced the operational and strategic capabilities of Iran’s defense forces.
“The Iranian forces are now prepared to swiftly respond to any aggression by the Zionist regime against our nuclear facilities by striking its hidden nuclear sites,” the statement declared.
Additionally, the SNSC underscored Iran’s ability to counter any act of sabotage against its economic and military infrastructure in direct proportion to the nature of the attack.
The statement comes amid escalating tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv, particularly following recent disclosures about Israel’s clandestine nuclear activities and Iran’s intelligence breakthroughs. Tehran continues to assert that its defensive measures are necessary to safeguard its national security against external threats.
