Hamas vows continued resistance until Israeli occupation is vanquished

Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida reaffirmed that resistance operations against Israeli occupation will persist until its defeat. Palestinian fighters carried out a deadly ambush in Khan Yunis, killing five Israeli soldiers. The ongoing Israeli offensive has resulted in over 54,381 Palestinian deaths and 124,054 injuries.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Abu Ubaida, the spokesman for Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, has vowed that resistance operations against Israeli occupation will persist “until it is vanquished.”

“Our fighters, the heirs of the prophets, continue to hurl the Stones of David at Gideon’s Chariots, striking down the arrogance of the occupation until it is vanquished,” Abu Ubaida declared in a statement issued on Friday.

He praised the resilience of resistance fighters, stating that their heroism inscribes the triumph of the faithful and oppressed over the arrogant and tyrannical.

Referring to a Friday morning ambush in Khan Yunis that resulted in the deaths of five Israeli soldiers and injuries to others, Abu Ubaida said, “The losses inflicted upon the occupation today in Khan Yunis and Jabalia are but a continuation of a series of precision operations—a model of what awaits the occupying forces wherever they set foot.”

Palestinian resistance groups carried out a series of successful operations across Khan Yunis on Friday, targeting key Israeli military positions amid ongoing offensives in Gaza.

Fighters from the Al-Quds Brigades, in coordination with Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades, launched a heavy mortar barrage at Israeli headquarters near Canada Hall in southeastern Khan Yunis.

In another operation, resistance fighters destroyed an Israeli military vehicle using a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) in the Kafr Qarara area of northern Khan Yunis.

Additionally, another Israeli armored target was neutralized in the Al-Jumayza area during a precision resistance operation.

Addressing Israeli settlers, Abu Ubaida warned that they faced two choices: “Force their leadership to end this genocidal war or prepare to receive more of their sons in coffins.”

Relentless Israeli bombardment and siege have resulted in at least 54,381 Palestinian deaths and more than 124,054 injuries in Gaza, according to local health authorities.

On Friday, Palestinian resistance fighters carried out a deadly ambush targeting Israeli forces in Khan Yunis, amid intensified Israeli military operations across Gaza.

According to the Gaza-based Safa news agency, citing Hebrew-language sources, an Israeli special forces unit was targeted in an attack east of Khan Yunis. A booby-trapped building reportedly exploded, killing five soldiers and injuring others.

“At least five soldiers were killed and seven wounded, including two in critical condition, by blowing up a building by military force,” the agency reported.

Safa added that Israeli military helicopters were deployed for urgent air evacuations from the combat zone inside Gaza.

The Palestinian Information Center reported that the Israeli unit had entered a building prepared in advance by Palestinian fighters. The structure exploded and collapsed on 12 soldiers, with efforts to evacuate the wounded hindered by ongoing heavy fire.
