Gujranwala, Pakistan: Allama Tajuddin Haideri, the Central Vice-President of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, Manazir-e-Islam (Polemical speaker of Islam), former Adviser to Federal Shariat Court died in Gujranwala Friday evening after a protracted illness.
The deceased was an activist of the Pakistan Movement, who played a dynamic role for success of Muslim League in 1946 elections.
In early 80s, he played a major role in pressing “fitna-e-Qadiyaniat” in the famous case filed in Federal Shriat Court by presenting historic arguments being an assistant to the court.
Allama Haideri did an active job from TNFJ platform in thwarting the conspiracy of making Pakistan a sectarian State in Ziai Martial Law.
During Hussaini Mahaz Agitation(1984-1985), he played a courageous and daring role being a right hand to the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi against Martial Law government orders to curb Milad-un Nabi and Azadari.
In 1998, when the Chief Justice of Pakistan Syed Sajjad Ali Shah took Suo Moto action to rein in terrorism, Allama Haideri presented notable “Moosavi Peace Formula” consisting of 850 pages in the court being a representative of the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi.
The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi terming his death an irreparable loss of the nation and the country, has paid homage to his academic and national services and announced three-day mourning on this tragic happening.
Accordingly to a handout issued from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, the funeral prayers of Allama Tajuddin Haideri will be offered at Darul Tableegh Al-Jafariya, near Railway Station, Gujranwala Cantt. at 10.00 a.m. Saturday, October 17 situated at his home town Rahwali.
