AhlulBayt News Agency: During Friday prayers at Quds Mosalla in Qom, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi addressed the anniversary of Palestine’s occupation on May 16, 1948, condemning the role of Zionist forces in establishing Israel with the support of the British government. He stated that thousands of armed militants gradually settled in Palestine, leading to the formation of the Israeli state.

According to Hawzah News, Ayatollah Saeedi denounced Israel’s continued aggression against Palestinians, accusing the regime of committing atrocities without restraint. He criticized the U.S. president’s recent remarks during a regional visit, where Washington blamed Iran for insecurity in the region. The ayatollah praised the Iranian president’s response in Kermanshah, calling it a firm and well-reasoned rebuttal to what he described as misguided accusations.

Turning to Iran’s strategic priorities, Saeedi highlighted the importance of nuclear technology for national security, describing enrichment as a driving force for the country’s development. He stressed that, with fossil fuel reserves dwindling worldwide, nuclear energy serves as a sustainable and essential resource for Iran’s long-term energy security.
