Vice President of Shiite Islamic Council, Abedel Amir Kabalan, held the Eid prayers at the center of the Council. He felicitated all Lebanese, especially Muslims, for the Eid, hoping it would be, "A holly Eid which brings with it a beautiful happy day to all."
Kabalan also addressed the political issues which have overwhelmed the Lebanese scene these past few months, "We request from all politicians to have mercy and respect for the [Lebanese] people," he hoped for the of hastening the much prolonged process of cabinet formation.
