AhlulBayt News Agency - The Syrian Army’s Special Forces advanced inside western Darayya on Sunday morning after taking a long hiatus from military activity inside this West Ghouta city near the Syrian capital of Damascus.
The Syrian Special Forces captured several building blocks from the extremist rebels of Ajnad Al-Sham after firing over 20 missiles and 200 mortar shells at the latter’s positions in the Darayya Association Quarter.
The source added that the Syrian Army is expected to kickoff a major military operation inside Darayya in the coming days, as hundreds of reinforcements pour into this besieged city that is located at the southwestern fringes of Damascus City.
