Ahlulbayt News Agency: Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid fiercely criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government on Sunday, accusing it of jeopardizing Israel’s international standing and pushing the country into isolation.
Lapid claimed Netanyahu had destroyed Israel’s special relationship with the United States, while world powers are working to shape a new regional order that excludes Israel. He further condemned the government’s military operations in Gaza, describing them as politically motivated, lacking clear objectives, and driven by ideological extremism.
He painted a bleak picture of Israel’s current state, calling it divided, economically strained, and deteriorating internally. Lapid vowed that his party would take steps to remove the government, citing its failures.
