AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Dr. Sayed Mohammad-Amin Aghamiri, member of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace and head of the National Center for Cyberspace, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly on Thursday, May 1, 2025, and met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the Assembly.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointed to the media capacities of the Assembly and referred to the different sections of the Assembly, including: ABNA News Agency, operating in 27 languages, Department of Cyberspace of the Assembly, which holds virtual meetings with preachers, the Arabic-language Thaqalayn TV network, and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) University
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized the necessity of joint cooperation in the international sphere and asserted, “We are in need of a deep human connection in the realm of public diplomacy. Therefore, I propose that a memorandum of understanding be signed between the National Center for Cyberspace and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly so that we may benefit from our shared capacities.”
Bridging Geographic Distances Through Cyberspace
Dr. Sayed Mohammad-Amin Aghamiri, Head of the National Center for Cyberspace, went on to stress the importance of presenting a compelling virtual life experience and stated, “If an engaging model of life experience through cyberspace is introduced to the public, it will serve as an advantage for us. The most effective means of exporting our discourse is precisely through sharing this lived experience. In doing so, we can establish a model society grounded in a virtual living environment.”
Regarding the reduction of distances through cyberspace, the Head of the National Center for Cyberspace remarked, “Cyberspace has eliminated geographical boundaries between people around the world. This presents a great opportunity for us, though if we are not vigilant, it could also bring potential harm.”
