AhlulBayt News Agency: Referring to Israel’s violent actions against Palestinians and Lebanese citizens, coupled with the silence of international organizations, Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier-General Aziz Nasirzadeh stated that Israel has become a symbol of state terrorism.
Acoording to IRNA, during a meeting in Tehran on Monday with Zimbabwean Defense Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Nasirzadeh praised Zimbabwe's historic struggle against colonialism, racism, and apartheid. He noted that Zimbabwe's efforts in these areas have earned it a distinguished position both within Africa and the broader international community.
Nasirzadeh emphasized Africa’s special significance in Iran’s foreign policy, attributing this to the Islamic Revolution’s foundational principles of supporting independent states and advocating for African nations in their fight against hegemonic powers.
For her part, Muchinguri-Kashiri extended condolences over the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in southern Iran. She also highlighted that relations between Iran and Zimbabwe entered a new phase following the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
