A peaceful protest was organized by the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan, Karachi Region, at the famous "Teen Talwar" location in Karachi.

The protesters expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and strongly condemned Israeli aggression, urging a boycott of Israel.

Handbills were also distributed to raise public awareness, providing information about the pro-Israel organization "Sharaka" and its growing activities in Pakistan.

On this occasion, an ISO Karachi spokesperson stated that the purpose of the protest was to raise awareness among the public, speak out against oppressors, and show solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.

He further mentioned that conscious youth around the world should raise their voices even more in support of the rights of the Palestinian people and against Israeli atrocities. The protest ended peacefully, and participants expressed their commitment to continue their struggle for the rights of Palestine in the future.

What is Sharaka?

Sharaka was established in 2020 by people from Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, with funding from Israeli and American donors. The idea of establishing the organization took shape after the signing of the Abraham Accords between the countries. The organization's primary goal is to "lead social initiatives that bring Israel's voice to strengthen familiarity with the State of Israel in the Arab world and create cooperation between young people in Israel and Arab states."

Sharaka’s Israeli co-founder, Amit Deri, is also the founder of Reservists on Duty, a group of Israeli soldiers dedicated to combating the Palestinian-led boycott, divestment and sanctions movement – a campaign promoting Palestinian freedom and equality.
