Ahlulbayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine supported the efforts of the Civil Defense Directorate in extinguishing a fire that broke out today inside a hotel on Al-Alaqmi Street, in the center of the holy city of Karbala.
The deputy secretary general of the holy shrine, engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, said: "the departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine contributed to the efforts to extinguish the fire that broke out in a hotel on Al-Alqami Street, Central Karbala."
He explained that" the Holy Shrine provided Water tanks to transport the water necessary for the suppression operations, in addition to providing paramedics who worked to treat the injured on the ground, "pointing out that"the staff of the Maintaining Order Department organized the traffic of fire and ambulances to ensure smooth movement within the city."
This participation comes within the framework of cooperation and integration between the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine and the security and service authorities in the governorate, with the aim of enhancing rapid response to emergency incidents, and maintaining the safety of citizens and visitors.
