Al-Abbas shrine covered in black to commemorate demolition of graves of Imams of Baqi (Photos)

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began to spread black banners in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him), to commemorate the tragic demolition of the graves of the imams of Al-Baqi (Peace be upon them).

AhlulBayt News Agency: The staff of the Al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine have begun to spread black banners throughout the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). This initiative commemorates the tragic demolition of the graves of the Imams of Al-Baqi (peace be upon them).

The Department of the Care of the Holy Courtyard, in collaboration with the division of Sayed servants, has displayed black banners embroidered with words of condolence marking this sorrowful occasion.

As part of these efforts, the staff have hung banners in the tarimah overlooking the courtyard and surrounding locations. Special materials were used to ensure that the banners remain securely in place throughout the days of commemoration.

The sewing and embroidery division of the gifts and vows department at the holy shrine supervised the production of these pieces and banners.

The Al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine remains committed to dedicating specific spaces for commemorating this sad occasion, ensuring a meaningful experience for visitors and providing the best possible services.
