AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched its annual council of the month of Ramadhan, in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him).
The Council organizes the Public Speaking od Hussayni Preaching division at the holy shrine, as part of its religious and awareness-raising activities during the holy month of Ramadhan.
The lecturer at the council, Mr. Sadiq al-Marouj, said that"the lecture delivered during the council dealt with the topic of pessimism, the Hadiths and narratives of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the texts of the Holy Quran on this topic".
"We explained during the lecture that many of the beliefs associated with pessimism have no basis in religion, but are myths that negatively affect the souls and dealings of individuals in society,"he added.
Al-Marouj explained that"the lecture witnessed a great interaction from the attendees, because it included a scientific presentation supported by the hadiths of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), which contributed to correcting some misconceptions spread among people".
The annual Council of the month of Ramadhan is held throughout the holy month, and comes within the endeavor of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to spread religious awareness and promote Islamic culture among visitors.
