AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli occupation police on Monday issued decisions prohibiting two Aqsa Mosque guards and one Jerusalemite activist from entering the Aqsa Mosque compound for different periods.
According to the Palestinian Awqaf and Religious Affairs Ministry, the Israeli police ordered Samed Asila, chief of the Mosque’s evening guards, and Aqsa guard Yazan Taqash to stay away from the Islamic holy site for one week.
The police also told them they would consider extending their banishment from the Mosque for a longer period.
They also banished Jerusalemite activist Rami al-Fakhoury, a resident of the Old City, from the Aqsa Mosque for six months.
The Israeli occupation authority and its police in al-Quds (Jerusalem) give themselves the right to issue such Aqsa entry ban against Muslim worshipers and take upon themselves to decide who can and cannot pray at the Mosque despite the fact that they have no jurisdiction over the Islamic holy place.
According to signed agreements, Jordan is the custodian of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in al-Quds (Jerusalem).
