The translation of Manavi Quran Exegesis is the first interpretation of the Quran in the Spanish language. It has been presented at the pavilion of Sozler Publications at the international book fair in the Iranian capital.
According to Rahman Mirhassani, Sozler has published the work’s translation in 60 languages. The pavilion is located at the Foreign Publishers section of the book fair.
Other Quranic works presented in this section include "Mary in the Quran” and "Quranic Studies Today” by Angelika Neuwirth and published by Britain’s Routledge.
Also available are translations of Islam’s Holy Book in English by different translators scuh as Yusuf Ali and Muhammad Assad. The two, along with several other Quranic works, including "Quran Recitation”, are on display at the pavilion of the Sage Publications.
Turkish publishers have a very active presence in the book fair, presenting books on different topics, including Quranic and Islamic. The pavilion of Turkey’s Hizmat Publication has displayed a printed copy of the first Quran in Kufic script. It has printed 500 copies of the work.
The 30th edition of Tehran International Book Fair officially kicked off in a ceremony in the south of the Iranian capital on May 2. The fair will host visitors until May13 with the motto of "Let’s Read One More Book.”
Some 2,700 publishers, including 2,643 domestic and 139 foreign companies from 110 countries, are putting their books on display in an area of 135,000 square meters.
