The encyclopedia will be a collection of the works written in the past 1200 years about the Imam (AS) and the Karbala uprising.
Sa’d Al-Bakhati, director of the institute’s Written Works and Research Section, said that the institute has so far investigated 122 sources about the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).
The encyclopedia will also cover information and documents about various important incidents that have happened at the holy shrine, the pilgrimage of eminent Iraqi and international figures to the holy shrine, the attacks on the holy shrine and the reconstruction projects conducted in the holy shrine.
