Prominent Kashmiri Shiite leader permitted to participate Arbaeen ceremony after 136 days of house arrest

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian (Shiite party) organized processions and special functions on the occasion of Yaum-e-Arbaeen (40th day of Imam Hussain martyrdom) in Kashmir valley. The central level Arbaeen processions were taken out in Budgam and Zaildar Mohalla Saida Kadal Srinagar in which tens of thousands of devotees partake.

According to a statement, while addressing large number of devotees in central Imambara Budgam after permission for Arbaeen Majlis, Senior Shiite cleric and president of J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi stated that the historical importance of Yaum-e-Arbaeen (Arbaeen day).

On the occasion, Aga Hassan urged people to follow the resistance calendar as there is no way to achieve the goal without continuous resistance. Aga Hassan paid tributes to the martyrs of ongoing resistance movement and prayed for the recovery of thousands of injured.

While interpreting the news of participation of Pak foreign advisor Sartaj Aziz in Asian Hot Conference organized in India amidst of continuous elongation on LOC and ferocious incidents with reflection of Pak sincerity he said, continuous elongation between two atomic neighbours could be foreshadowed for the region.

Both countries must start steps for dismissed negotiations to resolve internal disputes where from it had discontinued after the government of Atal Bihari Wajpayee.

On the occasion of Arbaeen ceremony, he declared the gathering of tens of millions pilgrims in Iraq's Karbala with an open message to the Takfiri terrorism and its guardians.

He said, the continuous ending of terrorists in Iraq and Syria who support Zionist ambitions will prove fruitful for the peace and security of Muslim world.
