Razavi Written Legacy Festival introduces AQR Encyclopedia as an outstanding work

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Astan Quds Razavi Encyclopedia has been selected as an outstanding work in the second Razavi Written Legacy Festival.

The festival, which was organized by Imam Reza International Foundation in collaboration with Iranian Book and Literature Home and Sadouqhi Culture House, was held in a bid to identify masterpieces in books, theses and articles about Imam Reza, his culture, life and conduct.

AQR Encyclopedia has been published in two volumes by Islamic Research Foundation of Imam Reza holy shrine. This work introduces topics such as figures, titles and careers, places, written works, precious items in museums, and organizations. It has an overall 400 entries to introduce different departments of the holy shrine.

The introductions are not mere description; rather, they have a historic look at topics and trace their backgrounds since the formation of the holy shrine. The content has been produced through a scientific method devoid of propaganda, and historical and contemporary documents, and methodical interviews make up the backbone of the work.

The book also looks at different administrative bodies of the holy shrine, affiliated institutes, methods of performing religious ceremonies, affiliated universities and schools, libraries, endowments, etc.

The encyclopedia is, therefore, a launch pad for research about anything related to the holy shrine, which can eminently make up for any research shortcomings about the entire organization heretofore.
