AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, secretary general of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly noted that Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) belongs to the entire humanity.
The cleric called on the newly-launched secretariat of Arba'een to seriously pursue its activities throughout the year.
"Arba'een stands as the biggest convention of Muslims" said the cleric adding," Imam Hussein (AS) belongs to all nations and denominations."
He called the third Shia Imam as the trainer of all freedom-seekers who pursue lessons of justice and confrontation with oppression and tyranny.
""Imam Hussein (AS) does not belong merely to the Shias but to all Muslims and followers of all Abrahamic religions and the entire humanity" said Ayatollah Ramezani.
Top Iranian cleric and member of the Assembly of Experts made the comments in his speech at the opening ceremony of Arba'een activities in Latin America, held on Sunday morning.
