Report on book “The Status of Islamic Studies on Cryptocurrencies in the World”

This work lists the countries that have the most research on cryptocurrencies. It also examines the reason for the Bitcoin in researches, in three areas: permissible, impermissible, and conditional permits.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): With the efforts of the Office of Islamic Studies on Cyberspace, the Report on the book “The Status of Islamic Studies on Cryptocurrencies in the World” has been published in English.

The book “The Status of Islamic Studies on Cryptocurrencies in the World” is in Persian language. This book is written by Mahmoud Rafian and Saeed Mahdiyan in 312 pages.

The book is an introduction to the identification of Islamic scientific sources in the field of cryptocurrencies. In this work, an attempt has been made to consider and summarize all research works in Arabic and English. The book refrains from criticizing the author's views, but can be a significant step for comparative jurisprudential research on cryptocurrencies.

This book has an introduction and two chapters. In the introduction, topics such as the importance of this research, research process, websites and sources, barriers, and limitations are written.

In the first chapter, the main findings from this study are presented. This chapter lists the countries that have the most research on cryptocurrencies. This chapter also examines the reason for the Bitcoin in researches, in three areas: permissible, impermissible, and conditional permits.

In the second chapter 133 jurisprudential researches on cryptocurrencies are summarized.
